After the huge success of last year, we are very happy to announce that the 2017 edition of the Kannerfuesbal will take place on Saturday 4 February on the first floor of the Centre Culturel, 29 rue de Strasbourg, from 14:30 – 17:30.
Entrance is free as always and there will be cakes and drinks on sale. There will be great animation and events for kids of all ages and our legendary DJ will make you want to dance with classic Carnival hits!
We hope to see lots of you there to celebrate with us!
Maus Ketti is coming to visit the Gare!
Saturday 23 April 2016 will see two performances by the Figurentheater Favoletta die Harzer Puppenbühne at the school on rue Michel Welter.
The first performance will be at 11 am followed by a second at 3 pm.
Tickets cost a very reasonable 3 € each!
Tickets will be sold by the teachers at the rue Michel Welter school and Précoce at the rue du Commerce. You can contact us if you would like tickets but have trouble getting to the school.
It’s a puppet show, so very visual and can be enjoyed by all. The show will be presented in Luxembourgish, German and French at both performances.
D’Maus Ketti, written by Luxembourgish author Auguste Liesch, was first published in 1936 and is based on the fable “The Town Mouse and the Country Mouse” by Aesop. It is considered the most famous Luxembourgish children’s tale.

Collectif Gare is an initiative established by residents of the Gare neighbourhood of Luxembourg City.
The Gare is a unique area in Luxembourg. Culturally and socially diverse, high population density, a commercial centre of the city. It is lively and very much alive.
It is out of love for our neighbourhood that the Collectif Gare was formed.
Our aim is to improve the quality of life and integration of the people in our neighbourhood by increasing opportunities for contact, increasing the offering available to residents and lobbying for the improvement of urban, architectural and social aspects of life in the neighbourhood.
We set out to achieve this aim by working strategically on a number of different levels:
